The project for the New Congress Center of the Fiera del Levante addresses the theme of the intervention on the existing, where the existence is a large enterprise divided into four connected bodies originally used to "contain" a multi-ethnic market during the trade fair. This function is probably the most representative of the identity of the whole Fiera del Levante. The design aspect is not nostalgic but absolutely respectful of a building whose morphological and constructive value is prevalent, generated by a complex system of volumes realized with a mixed masonry structure. The project works on the idea of the box in the box by inserting a new system of volumes that are completely accessible from the external construction-container that houses sales for congresses of different sizes.
